Molde is a coastal town in Møre og Romsdal, set on the north shore of Moldefjorden along the E39. Often called the “City of Roses,” it pairs a mild coastal vibe with lush gardens and long summer evenings. July brings the renowned Molde International Jazz Festival, filling streets and venues with world-class music. Year-round, Molde is a great base for outdoor lovers: it’s a short ride to mountains for hiking, and the nearby fjords offer excellent fishing and easy boat trips.
